![]() ![]() I know it's a fairly unpopular opinion but I feel like the current payout rate in GT7 is reasonable but there's still tons of people complaining endlessly about how many races they need to run to get cars. I somehow doubt this game will attract a big crowd if it is a full priced game, and it'll need a big crowd in order to make the social aspects of the game succesfull. Seems to me they are gearing up for a subscription/f2p model. I'm also curious what payment model they would go for. Maybe they can strike a balance between the grind and Horizon's endless stream of free cars you'll never use anyway. But now with a full time job and not a lot of time to spare, I doubt I would enjoy a similar grind. Ultimately, when I played TDU as a teen with loads of free time I could just that: grind. And, if you had the money, you also had to make sure you had the garage space so you'd also need to buy houses. However, you really have to grind hard to make the money in boring AI races. I agree with you that the immersion was great, and buying a car really felt like you earned it by working hard. About a year ago I tried TDU2 again after ~7 years of not playing it and it was just. Loved TDU1 to bits, but the game and gameplay hasn't aged well. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits. ![]() /r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
